Contacts

Harding County Released Inmates is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the government office that created or controls the record for those services.

Official Harding Record Contacts

Harding County operates no detention center. The sheriff can identify the receiving jail for a local arrest, but the outside jail holds its own booking and physical-release record. State-prison records belong to New Mexico Corrections Department, while the court file documents the order or disposition.

Fax: 575-673-2233

The sheriff’s published page does not state office hours. Call before visiting. Ask this office to identify the facility that received a Harding detainee and for arrest, incident, transport, property-release, or transfer records held by the sheriff.

Lovington, NM 88260

Lea County is a documented space-available option, not the certain holder for every Harding arrest. Confirm admission first. No public records-counter hours were documented in the research, so call before an in-person visit. The county records route is the place to request a confirmed Lea booking, final movement, release time, disposition, or destination.

Use the statewide court file for a release order, bond action, dismissal, sentence, or probation entry. The New Mexico Courts HelpLine is 855-268-7804 and lists hours of Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and Sunday closed. Court public-record requests use the judiciary’s IPRA portal.

Choose the route that matches the custody system and the record sought:

  • For a released person or a final release record, begin with the full search and records-request path on the home page.
  • For state community supervision, use Probation & Parole and verify the assigned NMCD field office.
  • For recent activity, follow Jail Releases: 24 Hours; it explains why Harding has no county-run recent-release feed.
  • For a calculated state date or custody alert, use Projected Release or VINELink Inmate Search.
  • For a confirmed contract-jail episode, use the Lea County Detention Center facility page and the detention records contact above.
  • For a sentenced state prisoner, use NMCD’s statewide offender search and Inmate Records channels.
  • For federal or immigration custody, use the official BOP or ICE locator for that custodian.
