Privacy Notice

This notice describes what Harding County Released Inmates receives when a visitor uses the site, why that information is used, and the limited situations in which it may be shared. It also explains cookies, outside services, security limits, and available privacy choices. By continuing to use the site, a visitor accepts the practices described here.

Information You Submit

Terms Entered In Search Tools

A name, location, or other term entered in a search box is sent to the independent provider that operates that tool. Harding County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider’s own privacy terms govern its handling of the query.

Emails And Submitted Messages

If a visitor sends an email or uses a contact form, the message and reply details may be kept long enough to answer and manage the request. Those messages are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.

Technical Data Collected Automatically

Ordinary server, analytics, and advertising systems can receive technical information when a page loads. That information may include:

  • The Internet Protocol address used for the request.
  • The browser name and browser version.
  • The device category and operating system.
  • Pages viewed and the time spent on them.
  • The referring website, when that information is available.
  • The date and time associated with a visit or request.

Cookie Controls

Cookies and similar browser storage can help measure how people use the site. A visitor may block or remove cookies through browser settings. Some features, preferences, analytics, or advertising functions may work differently when cookies are unavailable.

Purposes For Using Data

Collected information is used only for operating, understanding, and supporting the site and its integrated services. Those purposes include:

  • Maintaining site function, speed, and reliability.
  • Sending a search request to the selected partner service.
  • Understanding which pages visitors find useful.
  • Detecting errors, misuse, and technical problems.
  • Displaying advertising that may reflect a visitor’s interests.

Privacy Beyond This Site

Links may lead to Harding County offices, Lea County detention records, New Mexico Corrections Department, court portals, federal custody systems, release records, or third-party search tools. Once a visitor follows an outside link, that service’s privacy notice and data practices apply. New Mexico government record access is governed in part by the Inspection of Public Records Act, NMSA 1978 §§14-2-1 through 14-2-12, but that law does not turn an outside government portal into part of this private site.

Some advertising partners can use their own technologies to observe activity across websites and select interest-based ads. That tracking occurs through the partner’s systems, subject to its controls and policies, rather than through a record kept directly by Harding County Released Inmates.

Parties That May Receive Data

Harding County Released Inmates does not sell a visitor’s personal data. Information may still be processed or disclosed to a limited group when needed for the services described in this notice:

  • Search partners that receive and answer a submitted query.
  • Analytics services that measure traffic and page use.
  • Advertising networks that deliver and assess ads.
  • Law-enforcement agencies or other government bodies acting under a valid legal order.

Reasonable Security Measures

Standard administrative and technical safeguards are used to reduce the risk of improper access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. No website, network, transmission method, or connected storage system is completely secure. Harding County Released Inmates therefore cannot promise that a breach will never occur.

Visitors Under Eighteen

The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than eighteen. If a parent or guardian believes a minor submitted personal data, the parent or guardian may contact the site and ask that the information be deleted.

Available Privacy Requests

Depending on the law that applies to a visitor and the information held, a visitor may ask to:

  • Receive a copy of personal data held by the site.
  • Correct personal information that is inaccurate.
  • Delete personal data when an erasure right applies.
  • Opt out of a type of processing when the law provides that choice.

Changes To This Notice

This privacy notice may be revised as site practices, services, or legal duties change. The updated text will be posted on this page, and a new effective date will identify when the revision applies.
